We have added a customer tour for EMCO Limited. EMCO is the largest distributor of plumbing supplies in Canada. More than one hundred branches across the country utilize WISL's rating facility to help select the best carrier for shipments.

An interface has now been established between WISL Dispatch and a paging service. The messages that are recorded during the data collection of a dispatch are automatically transferred to the paging service through a modem via telephone line. This eliminates the separate operation to create pager messages. The result is significant savings in clerical time and more responsive generation of pager messages. The specific service involved is MIKE from Clearnet however it is likely that other services could be interfaced if they offer appropriate connectivity.
