Trip records are the basis for movement of product into and out of the WISL Warehouse. They may be generated by WISL Distribution Control as a result of modelling current open orders and optimizing the distribution by routing and rating considerations.Trip records may also be created by direct data entry facilities in WISL DCS or WISL Warehouse Management to handle stock transfers(between or within warehouses) or product returns from customers. The trip records are organized by stop to provide for the presentation of a list of load units for picking or put-away. The trip record structure also provides for itemizing the contents of a load unit(crate or pallet) to allow for picking or put-away at the SKU or piece level.Trip records could also be generated by a third party system to provide the basis of product movement into a WISL Warehouse and WISL Warehouse Management can also produce records to input to third party systems as movement out of a WISL Warehouse. |
