The Stock Transfer facility controls the flow of product from plant or vendor to warehouse and between warehouses. The specification of stock transfer requests can be imported from external systems such as order entry or procurement systems or entered interactively. The following demonstration shows the RF based facilities for picking and receiving stock transfers.

Pick Transfer

The Pick Transfers Function is selected

"A" is entered to Add a Stock Transfer Trip at the trip list display

System assigns the Trip ID and the load unit type from parameters

A load unit(crate) barcode ID is scanned and the number of sku's in the loading unit is added to the trip

(3) indicates the number of a given sku loaded on the trip

Entering the ID initiates loading from a different type of loading unit

This type of loading unit requires specification of the number of sku's to be loaded

"X" is entered upon completion of loading the truck

The Trip(W11653) has been added to the list of active trips and is now available to be used for control of the receiving function

The truck is now loaded and ready to go to the receiving point.

The same control procedure is utilized to control trips within or between warehouses that may not require the use of a truck

  Receive Transfer

The Receive Transfers Function is selected

The trip created above is selected to be received

As each item is removed from the truck it is scanned and the corresponding total received is shown in brackets

Upon completion of receiving an "X" is entered to exit the receiving list

A confirmation prompt is presented for the completion of the receiving process

The Trip record (W11653) has now been removed from the list of active Stock Transfer Trips
