WISL Web Services Rating

WISL Web Services Rating is a RESTful Web Services based module that provides the capability to support an interface between WISL's web based auto rating  which is an integral part of the FAIS Shipment Analysis module and a web based third party system that requires shipment costs. It includes XML  definition specifications of the records required to be received from the third party system and the XML definition specifications of the records that are returned to the third party system. The communication between the two web based systems is provided by Rocket Software's Web DE middleware.

WISL Web Services Rating/FAIS Scenario

• Shipment specifications are received from a third party system.

• Web Services Rating invokes the FAIS auto-rating mechanism which identifies the best rate.

• Web Services Rating provides for sending the rating (shipment cost) data to the third party system

• Web Services Rating can be implemented as an intranet facility or made available on the internet
