WISL Data Mining
WISL has developed
some generalized facilities that imports transactional data from operational business
information systems such as logistics, retail sales, manufacturing or from corporate
ERP systems. An appropriate cube
is maintained daily and access is
provided to this historical data by employing
various display techniques in a browser based solution.
Rocket Software's
multi-value data base, UniVerse, is employed for much of the transaction processing. Compiled
Perl is employed to handle most of the display and interactive data access.
Backup of the cube is provided by employing RAID technology
and/or a redundant webserver.
