WISL Dispatch - Technology
WISL Dispatch utilizes specialized technology to enhance functionality in several areas.
Traditionally the dispatch call is recorded on the computer data base where it may be assimilated into trips and used as the basis for verbal communication with the driver and subsequent reporting. The dispatcher then typically uses a second specialized device to record and send a pager message to the driver for notification of pick-up or delivery.
WISL has developed a communication interface that takes the message data recorded on the computer and sends it upon dispatcher command to the pager network. This eliminates the need for the specialized message generation device and the substantial time required by the dispatcher to create and send the messages.
