Upon receipt of a customer bill of lading, the shipment auditor function is initiated. The information collected in the dispatch process is retained and can be verified and altered by the entry clerk. Any additional information contained in the Bill of Lading is added, and an evaluation is made to determine whether the shipment should be weighed or cubed. After a batch of bills from an incoming truckload is completed, an unloading manifest can be printed.
