At peak periods thirteen registers are utilized to process retail sales. Several are directly connected to an IBM RS/6000, some are networked and the remainder remote connected via modem.

Bank authorization is handled through the register. All standard POS functionality is available plus other retail management functions may be accessed concurrently through the POS application(WATPOS).

The latest register from WISL is based on a PC running Windows 95 which offers an improved user interface for WATPOS plus the flexibility of the multitasking Windows environment.
